Episcopal priest and youth ministry director Michael R. Penland was arrested in June 2007 for offering sex to an undercover policeman in a North Carolina bathroom. Penland did not inform his parish, St. Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Boca Raton, Florida, until they became aware from news reports in September 2007.
