As we suspected, Episcopal priest Dan McClain has a psych evaluation floating around out there in conjunction with his divorce litigation. But in reviewing the various motions and pleadings filed in the case, it looks like he’s playing games with production of that document.
Given that the one consistent theme we hear with Dan McClain is that he doesn’t just try to win, but instead to crush those he perceives as opponents, that begs the question: if things are all sunlight and Chardonnay with his evaluation, why isn’t he waving it about for all the world to see? And how is this win-at-all-costs mentality consistent with the message of the Gospels?
A two-hour hearing is set for September 29, 2023 at 9:00 AM to consider all motions pending before the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Denise Cross is the officiating judge, while Nicholas Silvain is the magistrate in the case who will actually conduct the hearing.
Below is the motion filed to compel Daniel McClain to produce his psych evaluation, as he allegedly previously agreed to do.
Anglican Watch will continue to monitor the case and report on developments as appropriate.
