Jimmy Derrell Tippie was arrested in 2020 by the Grayson County Texas Sheriff’s Department following a search of his home. He was charged with five counts of possession of child pornography.
At the time of his arrest, local media reported that the 67-year-old was employed by World Run Ranch in Van Alstyne in the maintenance department.
Other sources allege that Tippie had ties to the Episcopal School of Dallas, working in maintenance at the Wolf Run Outdoor Recreation Center for more than 20 years.
Following Tippie’s arrest, the school sent a letter to parents, stating that it was cooperating with police and that it believed he had minimal contact with students.
