Episcopal Priest John A. Rogers

Episcopal priest John A. Rogers was sued in Connecticut Superior Court in 2006, 2013, and 2020 for underage sexual assault and battery against minor male parishioners at Trinity Episcopal Church, Wethersfield, Connecticut, in the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut. Rogers, a graduate of General Theological Seminary, was curate, associate rector, rector, or rector emeritus of Trinity Episcopal Church from 1963 to 2020. Rogers died in 2020.

The third case against Rogers’ estate, Trinity Episcopal Church, and the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut is scheduled for trial on September 6, 2022 in Hartford, Connecticut.
